Contest Rules

  • All entries must be received by Monday, March 26, 2018 to be eligible to win.

  • No purchase necessary.

  • Prize consists of a buttercream wedding cake, serving up to 100 servings and valued at $550.

  • The contest is run by Love Cake, who is solely responsible for conducting the contest and for awarding the prize.

  • LIMIT OF TWO ENTRIES PER PERSON: ONE PER FACEBOOK AND ONE PER INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT. If multiple entries are received, only the first entry will be considered and subsequent entries will be disqualified.

  • The winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held after the contest has closed. Winner will be notified via the Social Media Account associated with their drawn name. If the winner does not respond within one week, they will forfeit the prize, and a new winner will be selected. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

  • Prize awarded is based on availability. Excludes major holidays. All expenses above and beyond the $550 value are the responsibility of the winner.

  • No substitution for the Prize - the Prize is a wedding cake and that's it!

  • The Prize is to be used for a wedding event and is transferrable ONE TIME so long as it is used for a wedding event and the final recipient agrees to the terms of this contest.

  • If the Prize is won by a corporate entity, the Prize can be used for marketing purposes and be transferred ONE TIME to a new winner (such as a raffle) so long as Love Cake is tagged and given credit on social media and any printed marketing materials and signage having to do with its promotion. Love Cake can provide branded signage and/or a digital logo file to aid in a promotional event. The Final recipient must also agree to the terms of this contest.

  • The Prize is not to be used for fundraising events (We already do that!).

  • Other discounts or promos outside of this contest cannot be used in conjunction with the Prize.

  • The Winner's Name will be announced on Facebook and Instagram and will be posted on the Love Cake website.

  • The Winner also agrees to allow Love Cake to use their name and any pictures or video associated with this contest for its own marketing purposes.

  • The Prize must be redeemed and delivered by the EXPIRATION DATE: March 22, 2020.

Additional Details

  • Total wedding cake price is a $550 value – includes consultation and tasting, delivery, setup and the cake.

  • The wedding cake is covered in Buttercream with a buttercream design and details. Any additional embellishments can be added at the winner's expense.

  • The Prize can be any square or round cake configuration consisting of up to 100 servings – the winner is responsible for paying for additional servings (kitchen cakes can also be added on at an additional charge).

  • Includes delivery up to 25 miles from our location in Raleigh, NC and is limited to a one-hour driving distance (couple pays the difference depending on the location outside of the 25-mile limitation).

  • Colors and designs can be customized to couple’s specifications as long as it stays within the dollar amount of the actual cake value, otherwise, additional costs may apply which are the responsibility of the couple. 

  • Fresh flowers, sugar flowers, fresh fruit and cake stands are not included in the giveaway.

  • Includes options from over 20 different cake flavors.
